I am so pleased to be writing this recommendation.  Starting with your salesman, Kyle Baker.  I requested five estimates from different companies.  Kyle came in at not the highest estimate but close to it.  I explained to him I had no insurance on my roof as the insurance company had cancelled coverage of my roof, due to age, about six months prior to the October 2010 hailstorm.  Also that I was a fixed income of Social Security and retirement.  I explained to Kyle that I needed to go with the lowest bid because of my circumstances, but that I trusted your company and would like to have you do the work.  He went back to you, his employers, on numerous occasions and between the two of you finally came in with the lowest bid.  I also appreciated his coordinating with my refrigeration man.  This is a salesman who really works his job.  I didn't get this type of service from any of the other compainies.

I also appreciate the brochure you provided with references.  Your crew was very professional and informative.  I would be happy to recommend your company to anyone.

I just wanted to let you know about the performance of your services.  We had a minor hiccup in the process, more so a misundertstaning if anything, however, Kyle represented well.  He was efficient in resolving the issue and posted a no problem type attitude that made the transaction and feasibility of working together painless.

On another note your crews were perfect.  The reason I say this is we have little ones at home, so screws, nails and other items that are found well into young mouths can be a problem for parents.  The yard was cleaned, no nails and the take-off and installation of the roof was precise.  Your crews were respectful, well-mannered and hard working.  I had questions that were answered, a piece of trim that needed to be re-nailed which they were eager to help with and extremely efficient in the install of the roof overall.

I highly appreciate the efforts of the crews in creating a safe working environment and the fact that they were well organized and prideful in their works shows the ultimate workmanship in the roof overall.

It is too often that people have to deal with problems when they have work done. I have never had a project go smoothly. That is to say, until I dealt with your company.

Please allow me to list my experience:

1. When I called the number in the yellow pages, your receptionist answered promptly and set up a time and date for an estimate right away.
2. Weston Farnes came promptly at the time and date given for the estimate. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and caring. He gave all the information on the products to be used an answered any questions and concerns. He then gave me a written estimate and other helpful information.
3. After deciding to have Overson Roofing do the job (because I did not have the same pleasant experience as listed in 1. and 2. with the other two companies that I contacted), Weston set up the date and had the supplies ordered and delivered to the roof in advance of the start date. At no time was there a problem with "phone tag" or unanswered calls.
4. On the scheduled day to start the job the crew was there promptly. They too were very courteous and also respectful of the property. At the end of each day they picked up all the debris. You could hardly tell there was a re-roof going on!
5. Brett Overson and Weston Farnes came to the property each day to check on the progress and be sure all was going well.
6. After only three days ...I have a beautiful new roof!

I have already recommended Overson Roofing to my neighbor, Jackie Mann, who is in the market for a new roof.

In 2008 we used Overson Roofing to install a new roof for our administrative headquarters in central Phoenix. Because it was a capital expense, we require at least three bids for such projects. The Overson bid was less than what I was expecting to pay, and they just missed being the lowest bid by a couple of hundred dollars. However, I felt much more comfortable with Brett and his crew, compared to the "lowest bidder", because he was totally up front and honest about the process. The lowest bidder insisted there could be "additional costs" along the way "depending on what we find" even though they were all able to walk and inspect the entire roof beforehand.

In the end, I could not have been happier with our selection of Overson and would gladly recommend them for future projects. As a non-profit, quality, customer service and value and something we greatly appreciate. Brett and his crew kept our office/area very clean, they worked around our needs and they fmished as scheduled and on budget. Prior to the progress many of our employees had concerns about tar, nails, noise and/or debris. But in the end there were zero issues with those items. It has been a year and half and we have had zero issues with the new roof In addition, in the near future we will have an additional roofmg need at another property we own and Brett is going to be the first person we call. To whom it may concern: I finally found the time (and decent weather) to actually inspect my newly completed hail damaged roof repair done by your company and I am totally impressed with the work! I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and contracting with your company representative Andy Carney. This was after receiving unacceptable or wishy-washy quotes to repair my hail damaged roof from seven (7) other roofing companies, This man is a true credit to your company and in turn an excellent example of pure professionalism for the entire roofing industry. He is honest, tells it like it is, good or bad, and follows up on his workers. He had to give me the bad news that I needed 15 sheets of plywood replaced that wasn’t covered by my insurance, but his explanation was honest and exact, who could ask for more? One of my neighbors hired him after talking to me and seeing what Andy offered, and another neighbor will meet with Andy on Tuesday 1-04-11. That neighbor is basing his desire to meet with Andy on the professionalism displayed by Andy and his crew as well as the finished product he has seen from across the street. This neighbor had tentatively signed with another roofing company but wants to drop that tentative contract because of what he sees on my roof. Andy will be meeting with a couple other fellow workers of mine sometime this week also.
